Grade 8
Grade 8 at Greely School of Life means the beginning of high school. This transition is made easier because of the two years in middle school, but even so, going into high school is a big deal. Highschoolers get more class choices than ever before, longer classes, extra classes out of school hours, a lot less play and even less free time. When students enter grade 8 they must pick an interest and work on developing this one thing for the entire year. They may change next year, but unlike middle school where they can change every trimester, students must stick with something for at least a school year. They are not forced, however, to change the coming year; they can continue to develop a certain skill for their whole high school experience.
